Biden's Immigration Plan

With Biden set to be sworn into office on January 20th, many of us are holding our breath in hopes that certain paralyzing Immigration Policies under the Trump administration will finally come to an end.

Thankfully, according to the Biden campaign, the next President of the United States plans to tackle many important immigration issues within his first 100 days of office, including:

Muslim Ban: Biden has promised to end the Presidential Proclamations popularly known as the “Muslim Bans”. A ban that has cruelly and unjustifiably separated many families and kept qualified individuals from entering the United States simply because of their national origin.

Family Separation: Biden has promised to reverse policies that separated children from parents at the border, and to prioritize reunification. You can help hold Biden accountable for this by supporting and following Every Last One.

DACA: Biden has promised to reinstate DACA and to provide a bill to Congress to create a permanent solution.

Notably absent from Biden’s promises is what he plans to do about the COVID-19 Presidential Proclamations that suspended certain Immigrant and Work visas, which are currently in effect until the end of March.
